The image depicts a painting titled Revolution 1 Part 2 by the artist Dmitri Matkovsky. The work is a response to The Beatles song Revolution and is a vibrant atmospheric abstract expressionist painting and is an exploration of music through gesture, and colour. Multiple layers of red, yellow, orange, yellow, blue and purple colours, shapes, textures and a variety of mark making fuse one into the other providing depth and movement which gives the painting its dramatic intensity.
