You’ve captured the quiet, melancholy and shroud-like quality of fog. The heavy mist ladens the bright daffodils struggling to reflect sunshine. Very poignant.

Hi Goff, Lovely poem! I like the use of morning, mourning, and dew and weeps. It paints a nice picture. I have tried to incorporate morning and mourning dove into a few haiku without much success. Thanks again for sharing your work and linking up! Have a great weekend!
